Nowadays, more and more people use social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube to build their business, but so many people are still not getting the bigger picture. When they add somebody as a friend on a social site they start to pitch for products, services, and opportunities, that does not make people to like or trust you!
Imagine this sitation, you go to a pub, club, or wherever and you see a woman who is attractive that you have never met before, and go and kiss her, before you have even been introduced. Ok it might work! But it is more probable that you get slapped!
If we look how the most successful marketers succeed in social media today, it is not because they offer the best product, services or opportunity but they understand that people only do business with people that they know, like, trust, and an opportunity for any reason. So they provide VALUE by making interesting posts, providing informative articles and videos… what attract the attention of their audience by providing solution to their problems.
It is sure that building a relationship takes time but it is worth it, because you not only grow your business network but also start friendships. Beside, when you start to make those relationships and use the proper marketing system, you become unstoppable and bring your team with you.
To build relationship on social media sites start to get interest in people, start conversation and specially provide valuable and interesting content, helpful tips, videos… without interest of money in first place. The sales, leads, and business partners will all come naturally if you follow this strategy! Make sure that you feed those relationships helping each others afterwards.
I’ll sum up saying that People connect with people not with an opportunity, and most important anyone can leave a business but a friend will never let down a friend!
